About Drum Head
? Djembe drum includes 2 kinds of heads, one is processed skin, the other is unprocessed skin.
? All of our djembe drums belong to unprocessed skin. Unprocessed skin means the original skin that isn’t bleached. The original skin may remain furs, spot or irregular color. It’s actually normal phenomenon for goats live in wild environment.
? Compared to processed skin, unprocessed goat skin we use has the advantage of strong toughness, long lifetime and clear tone.

Warm Reminder:
1?All the Littlefun djembe drums are handcrafted, NOT machine-made. The carved and painted patterns completely come from inspiration of our village artisans. Every djembe may have tiny difference. When you purchase 2 pieces of the same drums, it may not be ensured that hand carved or painted patterns of every djembe are exactly alike due to handmade product.
2?In order to avoid to damage the drum in transit, we will add foam gasket for the bottom of every djembe drum before shipped out from our factory. If you find foam gasket is broken when you receive the drum, please remove it. Removing foam gasket will not affect usage of the drum.
3?Drum head is a layer of goat skin, please don’t press it and avoid sharp objects touching it. You’d better pick off ring, bracelet or other easy-touching drum head objects before playing.
4?There’s no need to smear special protective oil. Grease and sweat from your palm actually is a good secret for drum maintenance. Therefore, play the drum often is quite good maintenance method.
5?Although every djembe has been tuned when you receive it, drum’s head maybe loose gradually due to inconstant temperature and moisture. In this case, it’s inevitable that you need to tune it up by yourself via three-core alpine cord.
